FAI F3C Model Helicopter

World Championship 2001

Muncie, Indiana

The 9th FAI F3C Model Helicopter World Championship is held in Muncie Indiana, USA from 6th-16th September, 2001. The contest site is set in the AMA International Aeromodeling Center in Muncie Indiana USA. There are teams from 27 countries (As of the final bulletin) competing for the most prestigious title for R/C Helicopter.

I am attending this World Championship as a Team Manager for the Hong Kong Team.  This event would be very interesting.  Manabu Hashimoto would be competing to see if he could win the World Champion title for the third consecutive time, and with other top pilots like Curtis Youngblood, Wayne Mann, Cliff Hiatt, Rudiger Feil, Scott Gray, Katsuyuki Sensui, and Yukihiro Dobashi (to name a few) competing Manabu's life would not be easy.

If you will be in this event, go hunt me down to have a chat!  I will write about things happened during the World Championship, and try to update it every day with new things, so if you are interested please check back for the latest results and actions.
